Excellent DSLR

Bought this to replace an ageing Nikon D90. The D7500 is a huge step forward in features and image quality. Great in low light conditions. The tilting screen very useful. Easy to use if you are familiar with Nikon cameras.

Took this kit on a safari - fantastic pix!

this is a really great camera kit, especially for a beginner. I generally take good pictures, but I've never used a "real" camera like this. I did the free Nikon seminar online to learn some of the features and it really helped me use the "scene" programming to capture wildlife in different lights...

Love the camera. Always been a Nikon fan.

Love this camera. Works with all my old Blade type AF lenses, all the G lenses, AIS, etc. Very fast, 8 frames/second, etc. One drawback, apartenlty they changed in the D7500, the IR receiver for the remote is only in the front. Aparently, it's predisessor had an IR receiver in the back also.

I did check it for a few minutes but I had to return because of some issues listed below at Cons. Pros: - The product is very good - easy to use, - nice photos at high Iso (up to 10.000) - much better video quality than my old D7100 Cons: - most important it had no EU warranty slip (card) - the box...

Excellent upgrade

Despite adverse commments against upgrading, I had the D7100 from new....so 4 years! That was superb. I hand the battery grip too but almost never used it, so the D7500 not having a grip capability wasn't an issue, nor did the lack of a 2nd card worry me.

Easy To Use; Excellent In Low Light; Good Sized Screen; Nice Features and Settings; Rugged

Nikon D7500 Review

The D7500 has a lot going for it. As we've covered so far, the autofocus, image quality, and ergonomics of this camera are all excellent, and the video quality is enough to satisfy this camera's core audience (who are interested in photography first, videos second – or not at all).

A worthwhile upgrade or new purchase

I purchased this to replace a D7100, which I purchased because I was tired of waiting for the D400 (we now know as the D500) that never showed up. My main issues with the D7100 were it's buffer for high-speed bursts, and the ISO performance when pushing raw images in post processing.

Nikon D7500

Nikon is clearly sorting their DSLR into different market segments according to features. The new D7500 is built around their highest quality APS-C sensor paired with their mid-range 51-Point Phase-Detect AF sensor and the second fastest processor among DX cameras.

Clean JPEG images; Exceptional dynamic-range until ISO 800; Accurate and highly sensitive AF system; Ultra-short black-out; Flexible self-timer and exposure delay; Highly responsive; Good color-accuracy; Eye-Start Sensor; Manual focus assist direction indicator; Excellent build quality

Metering issues; Poor Automatic White-Balance in low-light; Some key features buried in Menu; Bizarre Auto ISO; Live-view not Exposure-Priority in Photo mode; Slow shot-to-shot speed; Instant Review delay; 1.5X crop for 4K

Nikon D7500 review

This latest addition to Nikon's DSLR line-up represents the biggest revamp we've seen in the D7xxx series since the D7000 replaced the D90. The combination of Nikon's 20.9MP sensor and EXPEED 5 image processing engine from the D500 in an even more compact and affordable body is bound to be a...

Brilliant sensor; Excellent high-ISO performance; Advanced AF system; 8fps burst shooting; Tilt-angle screen

Low rear screen resolution; Only one SD card slot; Live View focusing still slow
