This is my first experience with the Nikon FX series I've been a user of the DX series from the D 50 all the way to the D7100. I am a painter. I use the camera to produce portable images of my work and to record reference material. Though I have used the camera very little so far, I assume its and its versatility and image quality will be more than adequate. The tripod in the bundle is totally inadequate for this camera.
