I did a review of the D7000, 2 years ago, and stated that "I was at one with my camera" and that had taken about 10 years in the digital field ~ although the D90 was a good camera as well. (enthusiast level) So I now have a D7100 !! just laziness !!!
I bought this camera as a stop gap for my D800 when it got completely mashed in an accident. To my surprise it performs very well and is a cracking little package with the new 24MP expeed processor.
As far as deals go, you can't get much better than this. The kit lens and the D7100 alone will run you upwards of $1,300 Canadian, so all of this gear is a steal. The tripod is basically useless but will do for timed family portraits or something of the sort.
I borrowed a D7100 from a friend a couple of months ago. Its ergonomics are great, and weight is perfect as it allows you to maintain the camera stable during photo shoots as well as movie takes.
Great pictures but after few hundreds shots oil spots started show up on the sensor, returned it.

Announced in late February as an update to the popular D7000, Nikon's D7100 features the same 24-megapixel sensor as the D5200 and D3200 but without an optical low-pass filter in front of it. Ihave used the D7100 for a year now and I still love getting it out and use it. I use the crop factor )1.3x) quite often with my zoom lens. I don't think i have used even 10% of its power yet! More good times to come

Take negative reviews With a grain of salt. When they say "I never had to worry about adjusting the ISO and pictures were great" you know it's a red flag. This camera is awesome. I'm replacing my D50 I had for 8 years. The WIFI adapter is way smaller than picture suggests, which is a good thing.
