It's a rocky, dusty trail, and your hamstrings are burning as you snake your way up that incline. Nobody said that hiking Yosemite would be this damned hard. You weave your way through the brush and make your way into a clearing in the flora – only to stop in your tracks as you behold the most...
Pros:
  • seriously solid construction
  • crisp image quality with especially good low light photo capability
Cons:
  • tends to weigh down over prolonged use

Camera review: Nikon D7100 DSLR

During the past 10 years we have owned more cameras than any sensible person needs. Picking up any Nikon is a reminder of how well the company crafts its cameras. One feature, the easily accessible bracketing button alongside the lens, is so obviously useful that you ask why other manufacturers...
Pros:
  • One look through the brilliant mirror-prism viewfinder is an instant reminder of what we love about the single-lens reflex form
  • Nikon continues to lead the pack in camera ergonomics, with every important control accessible from the camera body
Cons:
  • The movie mode is still clunky and video quality is not brilliant
