As far as deals go, you can't get much better than this. The kit lens and the D7100 alone will run you upwards of $1,300 Canadian, so all of this gear is a steal. The tripod is basically useless but will do for timed family portraits or something of the sort.

Exceptional camera at a great price. Up until July 2015 the D7100 was Nikon's top of the line APS-C dSLR. If you can get it at the "sale" price, then pickup the prime lens kit for it at the "sale" price, you are getting a bargain on some wonderful equipment.- Excellent picture quality

Great camera and is an excellent balance between size of sensor, body weight results. I replace a D300 with the lighter D7100 a few years ago. It accepts all my old Nikon F film lenses,and I have collected a large number of lenses over the years (40).

I bought the D7100 because I wanted a DX body that would function well with my Nikon AI manual focus lenses. While the viewfinder is smaller than an F3, it is very bright and quite satisfactory for manual focusing.
