I have been intending to graduate to a D7000 for more than two years so its arrival was something special that quickly led to considerable concern over how much there is to learn about this camera.

cheapest dslr i got for 300 bucks
I bought this dslr for dirt cheap new ended up selling it because I didnt need it. The pros of this camera is it has HD Video capability. The first time ever as lugging a huge dslr which all it could do was take photos. Im glad nikon stepped up their game and offered video recording.

Solid all-round performance and some surprisingly upmarket features at a competitive price make for a truly excellent mid-range DSLR

Quality built but with issues
Was very undecided on this DSLR or the equivalent Canon and although having been a Canon Powershot Pro1 owner previously, chose the D7000. Straight out of the box it was perfect in performance in close range people pics.
