Nikon D7000 review
With the D7000 , Nikon has created a new category in its broad DSLR line. At $1200 (body only, as of May 9, 2011; also available as a kit with an optically stabilized 18-105mm/f3.5-f5.6 lens for $1600), the D7000 offers a midrange alternative to the higher-end Nikon D300s and the slightly...
Pros:
- Dual SD/SDHC/SDXC card slots
- Great low-light/high-ISO performance
- Very good image and video quality
- Autofocus in video and Live View modes
Cons:
- Function and bracket buttons difficult to access
- Full-time autofocus in video mode needs work
- New Nikon users will face a learning curve

Nikon D7000
The Nikon D7000 is a top-notch enthusiast-aimed SLR. It offers great overall image quality and is built like a tank.

Love the color, contrast, and sharpness!
I love the look of the pictures that come from this camera. To me they look better than the D7100 that replaces this model. The number of Megapixels a camera has isn't everything.

Nikon D7000 18-105 VR Kit review
The Nikon D90 was – and still is – one of our favourite SLRs, with sublime ergonomics and equally alluring photo quality. It was the first SLR to record video, but two years on, its 720p resolution and five-minute maximum recording time look old-fashioned.

WOW - NIKON D7000!
I've been a NIKON user since the "days of Tri-X and Dektol" (most users will have absolutely no idea what I am talking about) - however - the D7000 "puts my Nikon Collection of camera bodies and lenses to shame! A fabulous product! [...

- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good Image Quality

Nikon D7000 Review
Nikon built the D7000 using a partial magnesium shell (top and bottom) with dust and weather seals. It feels slightly less balanced in the hand than Canon's D60, but this is a minor inconvenience that most shooters won't notice.
Pros:
- 39 focus points
- impressive low-light performance
- dual SD slots
Cons:
- Mode dial moves too easily
- could be better balanced

Great product
It was a while waiting but Nikon finally got a lot of things right in the D7000. For previous D90 users they layout is very similar and they will feel comfortable immediately. It is less than half the price of the iconic D700 and has many of its features.

Fantastic service & quick delivery
Great camera, at a fantastic price. Wonderful customer service is certainly an added bonus. Not something you expect at a price like this, makes you certainly want to buy more :-)

A very good camera, 10 points, it can not because then you can of course not be better. Have shot with the camera since April 2011, previously had a D80. The difference in the dynamic range of the D80 is very large, perhaps up to 2 stages. Autofocus is fast and usually accurate but not always.
