Such a brilliant camera and awesome price at DWI. Don't think you get a better deal than at DWI. The packaging was flawless - retail package including original manual. Quick FedEx delivery too! Very satisfied. Now going to spend a few months playing with the new toy! D7000 is perfect.

The Nikon D7000 is Nikon's latest enthusiast offering. It's a great camera in most respects, but will it appeal to new camera users?
Pros:

- Good build quality
- Comprehensive AF system
- Full HD movie mode
Cons:
- Tendency to overexpose in high contrast situations
- AF can be very slow in low-light conditions
- Aperture cannot be altered in manual mode in "Live View

Nikon D7000 review
As it has 16.2 million pixels on its CMOS sensor the Nikon D7000 has a higher resolution than all other Nikon APS-C (DX) format DSLRs. In fact, it is only trumped in this respect by the top-end Nikon D3X , which has 24.5 million pixels on its full-frame (FX) sensor.

Excellent Customer Service
Recently purchased a Nikon camera. The online service rep was wonderful...very patient, knowledgeable and detailed. Camera is a great camera. Pictures are sharp and I love the recording video feature.

Sensors and Sensibility: The Nikon D7000 is a video camera strong enough to keep Nikon a contender in the DSLR filmmaker market.
For some years after Nikon brought video to the DSLR world with its D90 , the company pretty much ceded that market segment to Canon, which was first to market with the 1080 and 24p options that really made DSLR video a force in the indie feature and TV worlds.
Pros:
- Great sensor
- superb auto-focus, customization and ergonomics. Any flavor of HD (compressed to H.264, of course) that you could want
Cons:
- Has all the same limitations as an HD capture device that all DSLRs have (because video functionality will always be a secondary consideration in designing cameras used primarily for still photography).
