The first thing you'll notice if you're stepping up from a Nikon D3100 or D5100 is the build quality of the Nikon D7000 and the magnesium alloy construction contributes to a high-end, resilient feel in the hand.

It almost feels like an iso-less camera and i use up to 1600 without a second thought - in a pinch I would go higher. The controls are set out perfectly and I love the U1 and U2 scene modes.
Pros:
  • Its a fantastic camera with great build quality, picture quality and features
  • The jpgs straight out the camera are really good and the raw files allow for lots of manipulation on the pc.
