If money is no object buy a D750, it's a terrific camera. It's priced at 25% to 50% more than a D610 and I don't believe the extra money is justified for the bells and whistles that most people will never need.

Excellent full frame DSLR at a good price.

Very good image quality and build with low noise at high ISO. Only negative is that the 39 focus points do not fully cover the image screen making it impossible to focus re the rule of thirds for instance. However it is not difficult to focus using the centre focus point and then recomposing.

Easy to use; Compact; Build quality; Battery life; Screen size

I purchased this product with the interest of entering photography, I was very much a beginner, since purchasing this camera I have learnt so much and grown so much as a photographer. It was definitely worth the money.

Nikon D610: Barely different but still brilliant, this replaces the D600 as our Best Buy full-frame SLR

Nikon D610 Review: Second Verse Same as the First, Minus Tons of Dust and Oil

If you are interested in full-frame shooting and are looking for a camera that delivers amazing dynamic range, excellent image quality, and full feature set with great performance for both still images and video, all for around $2000, then look no further… this is your camera.

Excellent Image Quality; Amazing Dynamic Range; High quality performance; Full range of features; Dual SD card slots; Shutter fix is an improvement over the D600; full frame; weather sealed camera with loads of features for the price

Small AF coverage compared to some other full-frame DSLRs; Wifi not included; purchase as optional accessory; AF struggles a bit in very low light; gets there but is slow; 1/200 sync speed for flash; 1/4000 top shutter speed (same as D600

Nikon D610

The Nikon D610 is the camera last year's D600 was supposed to be, with a redesigned shutter mechanism that eliminates the dust-and-oil spot issue that plagued its predecessor. The new D610 keeps the affordable full-frame DSLR price point, as well as the excellent image quality, great ergonomics and...

Eliminated sensor dust-and-oil spot issue from D600; Great controls for amateur or pro; Comfortable ergonomics and weight; Excellent image quality and low-light performance; Very good dynamic range; Excellent battery life; Built-in lens correction, Dust/oil on sensor problem from D600 fixed with...

Not drastically different from D600; Moire with certain subjects; Auto WB still too warm in incandescent light; Slow AF in live view mode; Aliasing in videos, Main point of this upgrade is to fix problem on previous model; few added features are just minor tweaks, Second function button oddly...
