It has been a great camera. I am very amateur with camera's but have produced some upper level quality photos. The test will be occurring soon when I switch to raw photos and use photoshop.

The Nikon D5200, announced at the end of 2012, sits between the D3200 and D7100 in the Nikon DSLR range, and eclipses the opposition for resolution by including an impressive 24.1MP sensor. It even outdoes full-frame cameras like the Canon 5D MkIII.
Excellent image quality. Fast autofocus. 4fps continuous shooting. Sharp vari-angle LCD. 39-point autofocus system. Fast to start and shoot. 1080i60 video capture. Wi-Fi and GPS add-ons available.

No matter what your ambitions or skill level are, this camera could arguably be an ideal option for many when...
After using another well branded camera I decided to down grade to the Nikon D5200, I have found this camera to be excellent for the price and also it would easy to use for any new photographer.
