Camera Test: Nikon D5200
Nikon has made a compelling DSLR in the D5200. If you like the convenience of an articulated LCD screen and are invested in the Nikon system, it's basically your only option other than the D5100. But that is hardly a limitation, given that the D5200 performs well and delivers very fine images.

Superb kit!
Although I've been a keen photographer since the late '70s and owned a number of top-end film SLRs, I'd only previously used digital compacts. I looked at many DSLRs before settling on this one and am delighted.
Pros:
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
- Lightweight
- Multi-position Monitor
- Simple Controls
Cons:
- None Found So Far

Nikon D5200
In the Nikon stable of DSLRs, the D5100 was one of the standout models simply because it offered a lot of enthusiast level features for a very reasonable price, while the D3100 was a more simplified Âcamera for beginners.

- stereo microphones built-in
- tweaks to Auto ISO make it a lot more useful
