If you need speed, great image quality and superior high ISO performance, the D4 is your camera. I got mine in September, and it still amazes me every time I use it. The D4 just gets out of your way and does what you need it to do!

Nikon's Flagship Kicks Butt
The Nikon D4 delivers what a Nikon Flagship camera should. It's everything you'd expect coming out of that classic gold and black box they ship in. I primarily shoot high school seniors and sporting events and have not had any issues.
Pros:
- Full Manual Control
- 11FPS
- Great Sensor
- Simply a FUN Camera to shoot with
Cons:
- Nothing

Nikon D4
Every so often a top-of -the-range DSLR rears its head with the promise of the ultimate in design, performance and image quality. The Nikon D4 – the DSLR that sits atop the company's DSLR hierarchy – is one such camera. Some four years back the Nikon D3 passed through our hands.
Pros:
- Great image quality
- superb autofocus system in all conditions
- great design (improvements)
- excellent movie mode
- fast burst mode
- long-lasting battery life
Cons:
- Image quality isn't significantly better than Nikon D3S
- pipped by the Canon 1D X in burst shooting speed
- more expensive than most will be able to afford
- USB 2.0 output (despite use of XQD card

Highly recommended for those who want the latest & greatest!
Upgraded from the D3s there are some very fine enhancements from the previous model. The new screen is great. Image quality is too. I have not acquired the new memory card just using my old CF cards. I have heard some really like while others don't like having 2 different card slots.

Upgraded from d3s to d4
I upgraded from a d3s that I owned for a couple years to the d4 which I have owned since August of 2012. The upgrade is well worth it for the additional features and image improvements over the d3s. I have found the d4's exterior is a little more rounded than the d3s and fits my hands perfectly.

Love the D4
The D4 is a great camera. It lives up to its reputation. I love the low noise at high ISO. I actually got it for a specific assignment where I needed the higher frame rate. It worked great. I'm a little disappointed with the feel of the body. I prefer the smaller metallic feel of the D2Xs.
Pros:
- Frame Rate
- ISO
Cons:
- Clunky
- Plastic Feeling

wow - a real monster
This black beast will surprise you in every little aspects. The very first device who use XQD cards - perform superbly together. And the price seems to be much affordable now (after D4s has been released).
