If you are a serious sports shooter this is your camera
I've had this camera for a couple months. I was nervous about parting with that kind of money for a camera - there are several out there that have great specs for a lot less - but once you have it in your hands and once you've used it for a while - you will be soooo happy you took the plunge.
Pros:
- FAST, fast, and it's fast
- It shoots fast, writes fast, and changing modes is fast, adjusting anything is fast...
- this camera has everything you need - right in front of you
- When you hold it - it just feels 'right'
- Well done Nikon
Cons:
- Wish the GPS was built in (I do not have the GPS adapter)
- and it will be a great day when wifi transfer is built in
- and wireless wifi remote control ability (via iPhone/iPad) is built in

I love this camera!
It's like holding heaven in my hands. Though it is big and covers my ENTIRE face, I can't wait to get out and shooting with this amazing machine.

Nikon D4 Review: Feature-Packed Flagship
The full-frame DSLR market is highly competitive with solid options from several manufacturers including Nikon, Canon and Sony. And while Canon has had a grasp on those shooting DSLR video since the introduction of the 5D Mark II, Nikon has definitely moved forward with the D4's video features.
Pros:
- Excellent performance
- Stellar image quality
- Expanded video capabilities unmatched by competitors
- Excellent low light/high ISO performance
- Illuminated control buttons
Cons:
- Only camera to use expensive XQD card for second slot
- ISO 205,800 is
- perhaps
- overkill
- D3s may handle noise a little better
- Not much of a jump in image quality from D3s

Prized possession!
Got the Nikon D4 from Flipkart when it was not available freely in any part of the world! Yes, Flipkart wrote after about 10 days informing that they will not be in a position to supply and ultimately ended-up dispatching the item. Awesome machine brilliant under low light (high ISO) conditions.

Speed, ease of use and image quality are the three main ingredients needed from a sports photographer's camera. Speed, because they don't want to miss any action at that decisive moment. Ease of use, as fiddling with controls can be the difference between getting the main back page image or not.

The Nikon D4 is particularly striking evidence of the seismic shift ongoing in the world of professional photography. Reacting to a market where photographers are often asked to serve double-duty as videographers, Nikon has reluctantly moved away from its purist still-camera roots to graft on...
