Nikon D3200: Fantastic SLR for beginner photographers, or those who just ...
I've had this camera for over a year and taken perhaps 100,000 photographs with it in this time. The camera has performed faultlessly in that time. I would recommend this camera to a beginner who is looking to move to a DSLR camera and start to get to grips with some of the manual settings that...

Nikon D3200 review
By all accounts, Nikon had a great year in 2011, topping both the DSLR and compact camera charts. The former came via the Nikon D3100 , the company's entry-level offering with a 14.2 million pixel sensor, which is a great way in for those looking to get serious about their photography.

Probably the best entry level DSLR
Great camera. Easy to use and handle. Lots of available lenses. Takes excellent night time photographs when paired with a quick lens (eg: AF-S Nikkor 35mm 1:1.8G). Also, excellent artistic photographs using long exposure and bulb settings. Daytime photographs are excellent, as expected.
Pros:
- Easy to use
- Compact
- Build quality
Cons:
- Battery life

OK so far
Have had camera for a few days now. Novice user, fairly easy to use. auto focus seems a bit slow and doesn't always focus in LCD live mode. Extremely disappointed that current firmware does not support third party batteries. This is a very poor judgement call by Nikon.

Impressive
Selected after great advice from staff in Oxford Street store. Still using simple 'auto' but produced 850 great pictures from India and Nepal. Inspired to learn how to use all photo options and tp try a better zoom lense.

This was purchased for my Christmas so I have not used it yet. I have seen pictures taken from this camera and look amazing. Have familiarised myself with the camera and can not wait to use it. Hope I am as happy with it as other reviewers are.

A great tool for landscape photography
Used for landscaping and travel in mountain/hill regions its light weight and small size make it ideal for this use. It is simple to use with and gives good image control. Used principally in the manual mode, but auto works equally well.

- Bright LCD
- Comfortable Controls
- Easy To Use
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Great Image Information
- Great Image Quality
- Strong Construction
Cons:
- No Image Grid
- No Image Grid Rule Of 9
