Leveraging on their innovative approach, Nikon has come up with a new camera called Nikon DSLR D3200 . As the name suggests, this is an upgraded version of its former model the Nikon D3100.
Pros:
- Comes with 24.2 effective megapixels and the D3200's large image sensor articulately reproduces the texture and brightness of subjects
- As these cameras are compact and light in weight
- it enables sharp pictures with minimal camera shake
- You can enjoy various image-editing functions such as...
Cons:
- Just like its predecessor, Nikon DSLR D3200 is also not free from limitations
- As compared to many other digital SLR cameras available in the market, DSLR D3200 has got certain disadvantages, which are mentioned below, The number of frames per second could have been more, Raw shooting is not enabled...

Nikon D3200 review - At just £279 it's a bit of a bargain
The Nikon D3200 was the compnay's budget DSLR launch for 2012, and it was good enough to instantly make the older D5100 obsolete. Despite now being over three years old and being superseded twice, it's still widely available from major retailers.

An OK Camera with good features but doesn't deliver when it comes to overall photo quality. Photos look OK but lack sharpness. Skin tones in particular look dull and lifeless. Much cheaper cameras may have less features, but some take much better photos.
Pros:
- Ergonomics
- Ease of Use
- Range of features
Cons:
- Photos lack sharpness and look OK without being stunning
- Cameras under £100 take better photos

This was purchased for my Christmas so I have not used it yet. I have seen pictures taken from this camera and look amazing. Have familiarised myself with the camera and can not wait to use it. Hope I am as happy with it as other reviewers are.

OK so far
Have had camera for a few days now. Novice user, fairly easy to use. auto focus seems a bit slow and doesn't always focus in LCD live mode. Extremely disappointed that current firmware does not support third party batteries. This is a very poor judgement call by Nikon.

good camera
didn't create the review to critique the technical aspect of the camera, aside from the non-factory packaging, everything is in order and here. functions as described.
Pros:
- camera operates as it should
Cons:
- did not come with the box pictured, came in a plain white box and had a finger print on the lens.
- shipping label said new but this looks like a refurb to me
- kinda takes the value down a notch when being purchased as a gift

Great Camera for the beginner & expert
My wife wanted a DSLR Camera & I found this on Amazon. Both lens that came with the camera do not have "VR" built in. So at first the pictures came out blurry. After a few days they came out fine. I went ahead & replaced them with lens with "VR" & this has done away with any shakes.
Pros:
- Great price & Startter kit
Cons:
- None

This is great dslr for starters, missing only bracketing option but that's not so much of a problem.

From 2006, when Nikon launched the D40 , until today's D3200 the Nikon entry-level line of DSLR has been more about evolution than revolution. With the introduction of live view and a movie mode the step from the D3000 to the D3100 was significant, but other than that, very few changes have been...
Pros:
- Good detail at low ISOs (with good lenses
- Well-balanced noise reduction at higher sensitivities
- decent noise levels
- Relatively low raw noise levels allow for custom processing in raw conversion
- Good quality video output
- Decent buffer and burst rates for this class of camera
- Overall responsive...
Cons:
- Slightly soft output at a pixel-level
- Tendency to slightly overexpose in bright contrasty conditions
- Unintuitive setting of aperture in movie mode
- No 'live-preview' of aperture changes in live -view
- No dedicated ISO button (but you can set the Fn-button to control this setting
- Live-view...
