D3200 Review
fixed typos: 10/12/12 Nikon D3200 Review Nikon Invents a New Term, the HD-SLR Add a comment or send Thom feedback on this article. I know this annoys some of you who just want the facts, but I personally don't think that you can fully understand a product without understanding a bit about how it's...
Pros:
- Needs Better Lenses . This a V8 engine in a small car designed for a flat four, Video is wobbly. Rolling shutter problems are still visible, though not as bad as the D3100. Talking head videos are okay
- roller blade action, not so much, Missing Features .

Nikon D3200 Camera Review – An Exceptional Entry-Level DSLR
Overall we had a good time with the D3200. It's a fast snappy fun camera with a few pet peeves like no auto exposure bracketing and the convoluted menu – things that even cheaper DSLRs and point-and-shoots do better. Of course we can't forget the mono-microphone's poor sound quality.

Nikon D3200
? We've been fans of most Nikon entry-level digital SLRs since the D40 debuted back in 2006. As the latest addition to this popular line, the Nikon D3200 increases the resolution significantly with a 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor. Do consumers and novice photographers really need that much resolution?
Pros:
- High resolution allows cropping
- Good performance in low light
- Compact and comfortable, highly portable
- Fast and responsive, just begs to take pictures
- Quiet shutter is great for candids, Compact, comfortable and highly portable body, Good ergonomics, with even more well-positioned external...
Cons:
- Mediocre kit lens
- Might be too small for some
- No bracketing
- Narrow flash coverage
- Matrix metering tends to overexpose, Some users with larger hands (or those used to bigger DSLRs) may find camera and controls too small, Mediocre results with kit lens
- soft corners and noticeable geometric...

Excellent photographic results
Decent deal by Pixmania on this marvellous bit of kit, only gripe the manual was in French, but English version on the disc all two hundred pages of them which I downloaded to my Kindle and iPad.

Be Careful!
Watch Out! The photo in the ad is not exactly what you get. The 18-55 MM lens in the photo is a VR lens, but the one they shipped me is not. It's a good camera and the lenses are pretty good, but the photo in the ad is misleading. Because of that, I cannot recommend this package.

Nikon D3200 Review
The Nikon D3200 is similar in design to Nikon D3100, however it has advanced controls and updated features have been installed in the camera. The CMOS sensor is capable of capturing good details about the subject even at low ISOs.

Nikon D3200
The Nikon D3200 raises the bar for entry-level cameras. Its 24 megapixels sensor delivers sufficiently high-quality output to make poster-sized prints at low ISO and remains very usable until its maximum standard sensitivity of ISO 6400.
Pros:
- Low image noise
- Good image colors
- Accurate autofocus system
- Short shutter-lag
- Good shot-to-shoot speed
- Excellent time-to-first-shot
- Generally good ergonomics
- Full HD video with autofocus
- Good build quality
- Easily usable with gloves on
Cons:
- Serious over-exposure
- Below average AWB
- Autofocus on the slow side
- 1s video record delay
- Microphone records camera noise
- LCD glare when settings are changed
- Self-timer resets after each use
- Live-View not exposure-priority
- No exposure bracketing
- Exposure steps always 1/3 EV
- Odd Auto ISO...
