I was a little nervous about the D3100 but as I read the the instruction book it all came together...I just need a couple of lenses and I'll be set.

If you've already decided on an entry-level DSLR, the chances are you'll be considering Nikon and Canon. The Nikon D3100 is an excellent all-rounder, and well worth the money.

Despite sitting at the low end of Nikon's digital SLR range, the Nikon D3100 is an excellent camera; It features similar styling to much more expensive cameras, with an oversized handgrip, and it's a robust and well made solution; The kit lens is particularly impressive.

The Nikon D3100 is competing in an increasingly crowded market, and it struggles to differentiate itself; It's good, yes, but there are also impressive options available from Canon, Olympus and others.

Just awesome....

I love this camera very much. Best buy at this price range. seller is very good, got this at best deal. ordered for the 50mm prime lens today from the same seller to get better bokeh effect. i am just a learner of DSLR, and its just best for me. Dont think much, just go for it.

This is an adequate camera, and a great spare body for my purposes, but probably pretty good for first-time DSLR owners.

This camera is just a second body that I carry around in the event something bad happens to my primary camera. It is also handy during those times when not changing lenses back and forth is desirable.

It is VERY reliable; reasonably fast; and a good; compact DSLR

Hmmm..; It does what it is designed to do pretty well, but is just plain lackluster

Nikon D3100 camera

Exactly what I needed and had been looking for. Camera came with two lenses which cover all I need for picture taking. A camera which has all the options you could wish for without being loaded with a lot of gimmicky stuff you probably wouldn't use. A good buy.

Lightweight and easy to use; Monitor very easy to read - a plus when you are older.

None really except it doesn't have WI-FI

Good starter camera

This is a great starter if you're just breaking into the world of DSLR's. It has impressive image quality for a lower end camera. It is a little noisy at high ISO and it also lacks some of the good features, bracketing and external mic output, found on higher end models but it's still a very usable...

Easy To Use

Noisy At High ISO

Les

I purchased this camera as a gift for my wife and she is thrilled. The quality of the camera and photos is great. It is a great step up from a "point and shoot" camera.

I got this camera as a birthday/christmas present and I couldn't be happier with it! Not only does it take amazing photos and videos, but it's super easy to use and it has so many fun features!! This camera came with two different types of lenses and the standard battery/charger.
