Nikon D3100 review

With sales of micro-system cameras (MSCs) increasing, the position of the MSC's direct competitor, the entry-level DSLR, comes under the spotlight. While Nikon has hinted that it is looking into launching an MSC model, nothing has been announced yet.

Nikon D3100

Have only had this camera a week so still learning what all it's capable of doing. The automatic features are pretty easy to understand and operate. Camera has trouble autofocusing sometimes when taking pictures using LCD screen and pictures come out fuzzy.

Easy To Use; Good Image Quality; Quiet

Poor autofocus with LCD; Short Battery Life

GREAT

the camera is really easy to use! Takes great pictures! I am a beginner to photography and this was a great starter DSLR. There were no scratches, lens was in perfect condition, the camera is just beautiful. Refurbished is the way to go !

Great camera but time will be necessary to get the best out of it.

Very pleased consumer

I was skeptic at first to order this refurbished; however, I am very pleased with my decision to order from this site. The only issue I have is the fact that it took so long to process and get here even though I had checked expedite process/3-day shipping.

Looks BRAND new Amazing image quality Very light camera Battery life is excellent Manual Control of ISO; f-stop; shutter speed Brilliant shooting modes Photo editing software built in

Good starter camera

This is a great starter if you're just breaking into the world of DSLR's. It has impressive image quality for a lower end camera. It is a little noisy at high ISO and it also lacks some of the good features, bracketing and external mic output, found on higher end models but it's still a very usable...

Easy To Use

Noisy At High ISO

Great DSLR for learning!

I have loved this camera as I learned how to use the DSLR to pursue my dream of being a photographer. It takes clean images and sometimes, they don't need any edits!

Fantastic camera

This is my first foray into photography beyond a point and shoot compact. I read reviews after reviews and found this to be within my price range and have the features i was looking for. I would say invest in a camera bag if you buy this or any DSLR camera as they are so valuable.

Nikon D3100 review

Falling into line just above Nikon's other entry-level D3000 DSLR, the Nikon D3100 has some fresh features that make it a very attractive DSLR option for photographers who are starting out.
