Nikon D3100: Review
The Nikon D3100 is an excellent non-professional SLR that well approaches the amateur world without making him feel inferior. The ergonomics and design are the classics of the house but at the same time are dusted with the new mode dial to some devices and functional.
Pros:
- Double system of protection against dust
- Reflex for families
- Wide range of compatible lenses, viewfinder, the display size
- HDMI Input
Cons:
- Display resolution
- Video limited to 10 minutes

Nikon D3100 DSLR camera
Here are my impressions about the Nikon D3100 DSLR camera . This is the entry level camera at Nikon when it comes to DSLR cameras. The D3100 replaces the D3000 but the way it supersedes the D3000 in so many ways it is a really interesting, the biggest difference is that the new model it adds video...

New Gear: Nikon D3100 DSLR
Apparently, when Nikon decided to add video capture functionality to its D3000 follow-up, they weren't just kidding around. Not only have they made it the first Nikon DSLR to capture full 1080p (1920 x 1080) footage, but they also made it the "world's first" DSLR with full-time auto focus in Live...

Falling into line just above Nikon's other entry-level D3000 DSLR, the D3100 has some fresh features that make it a very attractive DSLR option for photographers who are starting out. Its notable new features include 1080p HD video, and continuous autofocus in Live View and movie modes.
Pros:
- Shoots HD video
- autofocus in movie and live view modes
- ood image quality for the price
- intuitive controls and guide menu for beginners
- good low light abilities
Cons:
- Autofocus makes noise in movie mode
- fixed LCD screen
- no exposure bracketing

Moving up from a point and shoot camera to a camera with more versatility thanks to interchangeable lenses, and improved image quality thanks to larger sensor sizes, has never been as tricky as it is today.

Irritation
Bought this camera. Great price. Unfortunately I have some issues... The viewfinder resolution is not so hot compared to other DSLRs. Sometimes its hard to figure out whether your in focus and the auto focus is constantly causing me problems and I frequently I find my pictures are a touch soft.

Though the 100-3200 ISO range of the Nikon D3100 appears conservative on paper, there's the option of expanding this to Hi1 (ISO 6400) and Hi2 (ISO 12800) if required. Fitted with the 18-55mm image stabilised kit lens, it offers a focal length range that's equivalent to 27-82.5mm in film terms.
