Nikon D3000 review
The Nikon D3000 represents Nikon's attempt to put a DLSR into the hands of people who would normally feel out of their depth with that kind of high-end camera. While there are lots of great digital SLRs out there, nobody has quite worked out how to make them really easy for novices.

Nikon D3000 Digital SLR
The Nikon D3000 is pretty much the perfect entry-level DSLR. It offers robust build quality, excellent handling, superior performance and good image quality, while leaving out superfluous gimmicks like video and live view.

Nikon D3000
The D3000 slots into Nikon's DLSR line-up below the D5000, replacing the D60 and D40x at the entry level position. Although not the smallest in its class, the D3000 is nonetheless compact as befits its target market.

Nikon D3000 v Samsung NX10
Both the Nikon and the Samsung represent great buys for anyone who wants to get a capable camera outfit for under £500. In terms of handling and range of features, both options are excellent.

Nikon D3000
The photo's are sharp wide and as a non expert I leave it on Auto mode and point & shoot. It's user friendly and as you feel like taking on more it guides you thru with ease.
Pros:
- You can't take a bad photo unless you forget to remove the lens cover
Cons:
- It makes you look so good your always taking photo's while everyone else is eating pie
