Nikon D3000
It is always nice to be stretched by a DSLR unit. This one from Nikon would make an ideal stepping stone for a competent DigitalCamera user before going on to a professional unit if indeed they intend to progress further.

Nikon D3000
The D3000 slots into Nikon's DLSR line-up below the D5000, replacing the D60 and D40x at the entry level position. Although not the smallest in its class, the D3000 is nonetheless compact as befits its target market.

Nikon D3000
(1 items) Think of Nikon's D3000 as the smaller cousin of the long-standing models it replaces. With the D3000, Nikon improves on its previous entry-level model (the Nikon D40 [ ]), refining the design and adding a slew of features that make the D3000 a great choice for point-and-shoot owners...

- Images are sharp and have good color
Cons:
- Viewfinder doesn't protrude enough

Nikon D3000 Review
