I bought this camera to replace an Olympus Tough camera which has given disappointing results on previous snorkelling trips. The Nikon by comparison has produced excellent underwater photos of life on a coral reef in varying light conditions,automatically choosing the right exposure and focus.

Great camera for travelling. We use it for vacations and it is great not having a camera that has be delicately handled.

We used this camera for the Great Barrier reef and it was fantastic. We got some amazing pictures at quite a depth. Well worth the money.

Great name of camera - Nikon. Have been very happy with previous Nikon products used. This is definitely the exception. Picture transfer has worked once. Hours spent trying to get pictures out of camera to computer. Followed Nikons instructions, UTube videos only to get the same message every time.

Nice looking, easy to use and durable. I haven't traveled with it yet, but I think it will be good for a beach vacation.

Im not a great photographer, so I was looking for an easy camera to use while snorkeling in Mexico that took great pictures. One note, it does take a minute for the camera to adjust when you first put it underwater (I missed a huge fish that swam away by the time the camera was ready).
