Great camera!
I love this camera, and it is the third Coolpix I have owned. I used to have a big expensive camera and very expensive lens for business purposes to capture a whole room view, and this camera can do what my $1,000 wide angle lens did.

Nikon Coolpix S9300 Point & Shoot-...
I have Coolpix S9300. Some of the key features of this camera are: the 16.0 effective Mega pixel and 26MB of built-in memory. S9300 uses the EN-EL12 lithium-ion battery as its predecessor. It holds 3.9 Wh worth of energy, which is just average.

Nikon COOLPIX S9300 Review
The Nikon S9300 sits at the top of the manufacturer's S – or 'Style' – range, offering a specification aimed at those looking for a compact for their travels. It impresses on paper, but how does it perform when put through the WDC test?
Pros:
- Good LCD screen
- nicely designed
- general image quality good
Cons:
- Sluggish in use
- lack of advanced functionality or manual shooting modes
- slight issue with fringing and over-sharpening

Nikon S9300 Digital Camera Review
Ultimately, the Nikon S9300 digital camera does little to stand out in the travel zoom category. Image quality, which is just okay, is hurt further by the frustratingly unreliable focus system.

Nikon Coolpix S9300 Digital Camera Review
For the most part, the S9300 brings nothing particularly new or exciting to the compact camera market but instead offers itself up as a solid and simplified overall performer: a Jack of all trades if you will and there's certainly nothing wrong with that.

Nikon Coolpix S9300 Review
The Nikon Coolpix S9300 is definite performer. Its 18x optical zoom coupled up with the lens based vibration reduction system allow for great hand-held shots (provided there is enough light). The build quality is superb and for those who like bells and whistles, there's even a GPS chip.
Pros:
- Excellent zoom range with effective stabilization
- Effective Scene modes
- Compact form factor
- Macro mode is very effective
Cons:
- No PASM mode
- No option to turn off in-camera noise reduction

Clear and true colors!
I wanted another camera that has the zoom power, picture quality but not the weight to carry around on some of our travel adventures. <br />The Nikon S9300 has all the qualities I was looking for.
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Fast/accurate auto-focus
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Great Zoom

Nikon Coolpix S9300 review Review
I've already compared the S9300 to the Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR on account of their similar headline specs where sensor and lens are concerned. The Fujifilm is around 10 per cent more expensive than the S9300, and were you paying for just the finish and a slightly longer zoom, you might find that...
Pros:
- Sharp
- colourful images
- Movie quality
- Long zoom
- High resolution
- Built-in GPS
Cons:
- Few manual controls
- Some wind noise on movies
- even with noise reduction

Nikon Coolpix S9300 review
All said and done the 'auto everything' 16 megapixel, 18x Coolpix S9300 comes across as a lot of camera for an affordable price if a big zoom with a broad 25-450mm focal range yet pocket sized dimensions are your chief concern.
Pros:
- Broad focal range yet compact
- Built-in GPS
- High-class construction
Cons:
- Zoom can be noisy
- No Wi-Fi facility
- Scroll wheel is a tad slippy
