Nikon Coolpix S9100 Review
The Nikon S9100 is definitely worth putting in your pocket on your next trip, as its pluses definitely outweigh the minuses. Just don't expect perfection.
Pros:
- 12-megapixel BSI CMOS imager
- 18x wide-angle zoom (25-450mm
- Large
- hi-res LCD performs well in bright light
- Full HD videos (1920 x 1080 at 30 fps
- Backlight HDR for expanded dynamic range
Cons:
- Images not super sharp at full zoom
- Few manual adjustments (forget aperture
- shutter speed
- No optical image stabilization

Nikon Coolpix S9100
As a pro-am, and sometimes pro photographer, this is the third Nikon I currently own. I got it as a compact pro style camera for snapshots, and travel (times when one doesn't want to lug around the DSLR with a bag full of lenses).
Pros:
- Image quality
- ease of use
- incredible focal length for a compact camera
- Nikon build quality
- great shutter.

It's an ORDINARY point and shoot machine. It emulates 18X. All results are fogy -a strange soften Photoshop effect- Beyond 10X is heavily shaky. It's not ergonomic, neither shutter button nor video record button. It's not clear it's recording or not. It's SLOW. Very slow.

I have purchased this camera for a put in pocket compact with decent optical zoom capabilites,I have found it very easy to use on the auto settings,nice sharp detail and vivid colours,the 18x optical is fantastic but at the very max of its reach I found the auto focus will hunt a bit and it needs
