Nikon COOLPIX S9100
Packed full of features for the beginner, a few more manual modes would make this a top camera.

Nikon Coolpix S9100
As the variety and quantity of "travel zoom" compacts grows, kicked off in earnest by Panasonic's TZ series a couple of years back and now sporting everything from Full HD video and GPS to 3D shooting, it was about time Nikon pimped its Coolpix series and emerged with its own "small camera, big...

Jury's still out. Not a simple camera.
Auto setting has a pinky rosy hue in all daylight pictures. Use of camera is very complicated and the only way to get a manual is to print it out from on line which gives you a ream of pages that is ridiculous to try to carry around with you.

"Cool Pix!"
We recently took advantage of the great sales and bought ourself a new digitalcamera. We had had one of the little Sony's for about 3 years now and the motor was going on it meaning that it kept shaking and giving me blurry photos so we needed one desperately with a new baby to take photos of.
Pros:
- Nice features
- good zoom
- good pictures
Cons:
- None

Nikon Coolpix S9100 review
Feeling solid thanks to its mostly metal build when gripped in the palm, and available in a choice of sleek black, silver or red bodies, the 12.1-megapixel Coolpix S9100 compact camera is most notable for shoehorning in a retracting 18x optical zoom.
