Nikon COOLPIX S9100 camera
The Nikon Coolpix S9100 is a solidly built, automatic camera with a huge 18x zoom lens, and it can produce very good images. It doesn't have extensive manual settings, which means it can be tough to capture a great shot in difficult lighting conditions.

- easy to operate

- Sometimes struggles in tough lighting conditions
- lacks manual controls

Pros:
- Huge optical zoom range from a camera that will still fit in the pocket
- Full HD video with stereo sound and HDMI output
- good build quality
- easy to use
- built-in effects filters are fun
Cons:
- Visible pixel fringing between areas of high contrast and corner softening at maximum wide angle - but neither are uncommon
- no mains charger
