We are very pleased with this camera; it was a great price & exceeds our expectations. We were looking for a camera with a fast shutter speed, to allow for capturing clear photos of our quick moving toddler. We also wanted different features for different scene modes (i.e. the "Kids & Pets" option).

Pros:
- Large focal range
- striking LCD
- HD video capture
Cons:
- Lack of manual controls and RAW
- plasticky body
- slow start up
