Nice pictures and inexpensive.

I bought this camera back in 2011 and it has done it's job. Unfortunately, I dropped it on Christmas day and wrecked the lens. I was looking for a simple point and shoot that took a decent picture and I found that in the S9100.

QUICK TAKE CAMERA

The S9100 features some nice new innovations and a great 18x optic, But it doesn't solve the low light problems the plague just about every compact point and shoot on the market. The coolpix S9100 is one of the most interesting of the eight new nikon point and shoot digicam cam amounts yearly this...

Disappointment with Flipkart

Flipkart offered this product with 4gb memory card, cover, and Camera. They have not provided the memory card nor the refund. This is lame and Flipkart now you suck the big time. This is my last purchase with Flipkart. Camera delivered is ok and usual.

Have had the camera for a few days! Photo okay but can eg not shoot the sun near the horizon. This provides only mass lens flare! Filming in 1080p and pans gives really very choppy movie (30Mb / s SDHC). Unusable for filming in 1080p, I think! Poor quality film further.

This is my third so I must love it

Unbeatable image quality all round and especially low light rendition, unbelievable telephoto with tremendous stabilisation, great very wide angle for huge flexibility. Multiple 'effects' and understated amongst them a phenomenal 180 or 360 auto panorama - press the button and pan round, any speed,...

I love the camera; not crazy about the photos.

The Nikon S9100 feels so good in my hands. It feels solid and well built. It shoots photos quickly and the photos look so darn good on that little screen on the back of the camera. However, get it home and download the photos on to your computer and you realize the photos are all blurry.
Pros:
  • Well built
Cons:
  • Blurry photos

Nice pics but too complicated for everyday use

I asked for a "simple" camera with video capabilities after our first son was born. My parents went above and beyond and bought this camera for us. No matter how hard I try I cannot seem to find a basic setting for everyday pictures.

Nikon Coolpix S9100 Review

A few ultra-zoom cameras featuring really thin camera bodies have appeared lately, and the S9100 -- thanks to its 18X optical zoom lens -- is one of the nicer ones around.

Unable to review at this time

I am unable to review this product..the product did not work as it had a lens error warning when turned on and froze up. returned. I returned the product and decided not to purchase another one. Evidently, the product is well liked by others.

Nice looking camera. Not too big or heavy. Good zoom. Picture quality very unreliable. The same shot taken with the same settings five times produced five very different images, with varying focus, brightness, colour intensity. A great proportion of the family Christmas pictures were unusable.
