overall i think it's good just haven't had enough time with it

the only thing i don't like about this camera is that if you put it in a case any bump to it will turn the camera on while it is in the case eating your battery and i'm afraid this cannot be good for the lens as it must try to extend while encased .

A very nice camera.

I love the size of the camera, it fits easily in my purse or pocket and is ready in seconds when I want to photograph something. I have not had the time to get to know it as well as I'd like, so in time I'm sure it will have even more capabilities than I am using now.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
  • Fast/accurate auto-focus
  • Good Image Quality
  • Great Zoom
  • Large Clear LCD
  • Nice Body Color
  • Small / Compact
Cons:
  • Lag / Shutter Delay

Nikon Coolpix S3300

While those cameras do all of the work to create a panorama, the Nikon S3300 merely guides you to shoot certain photos, and then you have to stitch them together later using supplied computer software. Like most ultra-cheap cameras, there's no HDMI jack for easy viewing on an HDTV.
Pros:
  • 6x zoom works well
  • Very slim and lightweight
Cons:
  • Disappointing photo and video quality
  • Sluggish shooting
  • Owner complaints of flimsiness and malfunctions
  • Hard-to-see LCD screen

Nikon Coolpix S3300

Nikon's budget compacts are hard to tell apart. After a very "entry-level" S3100 the company has released the S3300, which is... well, basically the same thing. One of the only differences is that it now (finally!

  • Image stabiliser (still uncommon in this price range
Cons:
  • Plastic back feels cheap
  • Screen: poor viewing angles
  • Images overly smoothed starting at 800 ISO
  • Poor-quality lens (blurry edges starting at 1 x 15 cm
  • Video mode has no zoom and bad sound
