Great camera.
I love this camera!! Especially that it's wifi enabled and I can easily download photos to other devices wirelessly. image quality is good and I love the filters. Great for the money! Highly recommend.

Five Stars
What a great no fuss camera this is. Brill pictures been everywhere with it. Does great vid too. Update 3 years on. Still great. Been all over the world and have huge high spec picture and super res vid collection possibly a modern classic. Not a foot wrong.

Decent for the price
The picture clarity is lost as the camera's optical zoom increases, at 5x it is quite hazy. Testing with a tripod to eliminate hand jitters yielded no better results. Lack of controls to even change the iso makes low light pictures unusable.

Great for family snaps and holiday photos
I had this camera as a birthday present a year ago and was really pleased with it. I have taken it on a couple of holidays with me and it has done the job. The photos have all come out well and I haven't had many problems with the camera itself.

Great compact easy to use but battery didn"t last as long as I was told it would
Same as above easy to use although I haven't made full use of it. The battery didn't last as long as I was told by salesman. I was told 1500 pictures. After charging all night I got about 100 pictures or not even that.

Then the battery packed in just after the year which apparently shouldn't do after such a short space and have since replaced it only for it to go again a couple of months later.

Not a horrible camera
Lousy customer service from Nikon on what I thought was a pretty decent point and shoot camera. 1 year and 1 week and it died, it was 1 week out of warranty and they would not even discuss a replacement...
Pros:
- Small and compact
- 16 megapixels
Cons:
- For 16 mp sometimes the pictures were very blurry and other times quite clear, don't know why either
- The big con is how long this camera lasted
- Bought it on 4/30/12 and it died the 1st week of May 2013
- Guess what the warranty is Yep 1 year!

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY this camera, We brought this camera as a replacement for our now old Sony Cyber shot, As we wanted a change and more modern looking camera thinking the 16mp would give us better photos. How wrong we were the picture quality is pathetic 80% of our close up pictures for [...] etc.

- Shutter Lag
- Not Good In Low Light

That Carl Zeiss Lens beats the image quality and sharpness of any pocket camera I have seen. A little heavy for its size but I am guessing the lens elements are glass instead of plastic but the quality of the picture is worth the little extra weight.

The Camera can not focus
So I would say that one of the most important things that a digital camera should do is "FOCUS", well that has been very hard to do. I am only able to get a close-up image in focus by using the close-up feature, but it will not focus on anything over a distance of 1 foot.
