Nikon Coolpix AW110
The Nikon Coolpix AW110 successfully replaces its predecessor, the well-reviewed Coolpix AW100, with the addition of Wi-Fi and a sharper OLED display. The AW110 is an extremely rugged camera that divers will love as it can go deeper underwater than any other camera on the market.
Pros:
- Wi-Fi
- Goes deeper than any camera in its class
- Extensive GPS feature set
- Altimeter
Cons:
- Blue cast in underwater photos/movies
- Display very difficult to see outdoors and underwater

I want to like this camera but I'm not quite there yet!
Bit of mixed review for this camera... In the water We took the camera to Greece to use on a family holiday and it was used frequently in the pool and sea and worked very well. It is a little tricky to use at times when underwater but I took lots of shots and got some great results Out of the water...

Hopefully the fourth time is the carm
I've been through three lower priced water proof cameras that turned out not to be. That's a bad return on investment. Hopefully this higher end one will prove better. I've not yet had it under water but it is a lot of camera for the price.

Nikon's rugged Coolpix AW110 ready to shoot and share
If you're looking for a rugged camera, but don't want to sacrifice on-the-go sharing, the Nikon Coolpix AW110 is a good place to start.
Pros:
- The Nikon Coolpix AW110 is rated to survive being underwater down to 59 feet and drops of up to 6.6 feet along with being freezeproof and dustproof
- has built-in GPS for geotagging among other things and Wi-Fi for easy shooting and sharing with iOS and Android devices.
Cons:
- While its shooting performance is good
- the camera's spongy buttons might slow you down a bit and the camera's slow lens requires a lot of light to get the best shots

We bought this camera to use while snorkeling and other activities where our DSLR would either be too bulky or at risk of the elements. Which is pretty much what the promotional material told us it would be good for.
