Useful but Frivolous
I use this as a packing aid. I don't use it in the field, because I just keep the camera in a pocket. This is just to protect the camera in a suitcase or backpack. The orange color makes it easy to find in the bag. It fits the camera perfectly.

- Excellent rugged and waterproof construction
Cons:
- Visible noise at all ISO settings
- Over-exposes often
- Strong edge softness
- Slow lens on wide-end
- Below average image stabilization
- Display not exposure-priority
- Impossible to setup video framing
- One second video recording delay

Good CMOS censor but bad software. Wrong picture lighting
I brought this from Flipkart and very instant delivery. The camera has amazing COMS sensor quality and almost no red noise. But the problem lies in Software. Nikon as you know is very backward in software algorithms compared to sony.

Lasts forever - you'll wish it didn't
As an architectural firm we bought this to replace a Canon Ixus that got dropped one too many times on site. All it has to do is take record photographs of works. The build quality is robust - this feels very compact and like it would last a long time.

I'm glad I purchased this at Costco. I can return it and try again... Very dissapointed with Nikon. I trust their dslr's, but I have had very bad luck with Nikon's small cameras.

Great Camera
Overall I got the camera on-sale for $250 and did a phenomenal job for that price point. For all the cool feature this camera has, it's by far one of the best options out there at it's price cost. I Highly recommend this camera for those looking to do lots of underwater activities.
Pros:
- I bought this camera a week before heading to Hawaii, as I had planned a lot of underwater activities
- It took great pictures underwater! whether it was in the shark cages, or general snorkeling
- For general picture taking, above water, the camera still more then excelled.
Cons:
- I noticed for prolonged underwater adventures
- that after about 20min
- once back on land
- opening the battery door their was a few drops of water(very very minimal) It seems like a great seal but some water did mange to get in.

Garbage
Bought this camera to replace my Olympus 8080 (with waterproof housing) for lightweight underwater pictures while on a vacation to Vietnam. Luckily I tried it before I left, and even more lucky was the fact that I had a backup, although a clumsy, cumbersome one at that.

- Poor Flash
- Poor Image Quality

Very happy with the picture quality of this camera both outdoors and underwater. Used and abused this camera in some wonderful outdoor environments where you wouldn't want to take a non waterproof camera.

I purchased this camera 4 years back And it was very cheap like 15k I have no idea why it's over priced now And there are some issues which even the Nikon guys can't sort Mine goes black screen when the camera is on and if video recording starts the screen is ok don't know What to do Any answers
