I purchased this camera 4 years back And it was very cheap like 15k I have no idea why it's over priced now And there are some issues which even the Nikon guys can't sort Mine goes black screen when the camera is on and if video recording starts the screen is ok don't know What to do Any answers

Love this camera
Love this camera. Been in pools with it, rain, dirt. Gave it 4 stars because the GPS feature is a little spotty. It doesn't always mark your location correctly.

Does not fit the Nikon 9600..
Battery too large for my Nikon camera battery compartment so I would never know if it works properly. Maybe the manufacturer has to thin out the battery itself.

does what it says on the tin
I have had this camera now for 3 years and use it as my main digital camera .Pictures are all good and I go diving to about 70 ft and have no problem taking video and pictures . I need an extra battery when I go out all day taking pics as it struggles to last a full day .

Great camera
I bought this camera for a Caribbean cruise. I took it snorkeling and to Sting Ray Bay. This camera spent many many hours in the water. The pictures are clear and beautiful. It's very easy to use. I spent a lot of time researching for a camera and so happy with this one.

Have now tested, including a week of snorkeling in Egypt ... on the whole I am very pleased with the performance of the camera! When you buy a waterproof camera, one should be aware that it costs a lot to make it dense and durable - this means that the image quality does not achieve quite the same...

Nikon AW100
Kalahari was the cheapest available by R1000 at the least and R3000 at the Most! The camera is great! Takes great pictures and really is as water-proof and shock proof as it claims to be. delivery was within 48hrs.

Very happy with the picture quality of this camera both outdoors and underwater. Used and abused this camera in some wonderful outdoor environments where you wouldn't want to take a non waterproof camera.

Useful but Frivolous
I use this as a packing aid. I don't use it in the field, because I just keep the camera in a pocket. This is just to protect the camera in a suitcase or backpack. The orange color makes it easy to find in the bag. It fits the camera perfectly.

Refurbished is like new
Looks like new. I did have to plug the battery in the charger a couple of times to get it to start charging (could be why it was returned), but it works fine now.
