The Router Randomly Locks Up

When the router works it works fine. But it locks up randomly at least once a day. The only way to fix is to repower. I've updated to the latest firmware, no change. I read that other people were having the same issue.

Highly Unstable. A bad buy.

Netgear WNDR 3700 is not compatible with Reliance Broadband and is highly unstable. I bought one 4 months back and the internet is disconnecting 3-5 times a day, even though it is working if I connect the Reliance cable directly to PC.

Huge Disappointment

I got this with new Dell computer and works okay for main adjacent computer which defeats the purpose. Very very poor range. Can't reach half the distance of my old Linksys router
Pros:
  • Works okay up close
Cons:
  • Horrible Range

Works with Virgin Media 120Mbps cable service

I needed a WiFi router that used Gigabit Ethernet to connect to my Virgin Media superhub to use the 120Mbps download service so I chose this NetGear router. Wired Internet speedtest was about 90Mbps download, 10Mbps upload with the superhub set to be a modem (if you use the superhub as a router then...

A fast, easy to use, dual-band wireless router for homes and small offices

Netgear doesn't leave much to the imagination with its product names. Take the Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700): its full name lets you know exactly what you're getting.
Pros:
  • Dual-band operation works very well
  • fast 5GHz operation
  • USB port for sharing storage devices
  • content on USB drives is accessible over the Internet
Cons:
  • Couldn't use USB devices to serve media to our PlayStation 3
  • Web interface needs a redesign -- enough with the frames already

Netgear WNDR3700 4 Port Gigabit Wireless N Dual Band Router

Easy setup. It performs great. Adore the guest network. Fantastic variety. None that I've located. Not exactly a con but its additional high priced than other routers, but you get what you pay for. Can definitely get this one and not need to have another router for a long although.
