The software for managing the switch is alright, however I've found it to function just fine with a plug n' and play approach. The interface is clean and smooth. It's really nice for managing a big or small network that requires a hub.

Works great! Plug n play. That simple. I'm using it in my home theater equipment rack. TiVo extender works perfectly with TiVo plug into home router and the mini plug into this switch with other components and then the switch plug into the router

Pro's: easy to mount, works out of the box, some management available-vlans, relatively inexpensive. Cons: constructions seems to be kinda cheap plastic, no port security options-you can only disable ports I would have given more stars for a more durable construction and more management capabilities...

It may be good as a single switch for a home office but it doesn't communicate with other switches with either a straight CAT 5 or a crossover cable. It's not much use if you want to use it in a multiple switch environment. Tech support was not as useful as I would have wished.

Good bang for the buck, i can see it being useful as well for conference rooms and stuff because of its unique form factor.

good price for a semi managed switch; I just needed Vlan/QOS capability and not all the other bloat that comes with a lot of managed switches the form factor is neat as well, i mounted mine under my desk and its out of sight, very sleek Has usb ports so you can charge things

This switch does what it says on the box, and is a good value. Performance is good, as one would expect for a consumer grade store-and-forward switch. Remarkable feature at this price point is VLAN support, both port based and 802.1q tagged.

I needed a switch I could easily mount in a cupboard on the wall without a power brick trailing on the shelf. This model is fitted with an integrated power supply and has enough ports to hook up all the networked rooms in the house. A bonus is the powered USB ports.
