Im not new to extenders and Netgear is a good brand but after setting it up ok (which took a while - you really need to wait for power/signal indicators to come on completely) - Ive found the extender operating unsecured, presumably after Telstra - NBN messed with things in our street. Resetting the NBN has knocked out the programming. It could be the lousy Telstra router. However spending another 1/2 to 1 hour reprogramming and getting it secure has not resulted in success. Hard to know who to blame but Im just going with poor wifi again for now.
