The nest outdoor camer rocks. It works great with the app and gives you a very clear view of your surrounding, as long as your phone is connected to WiFi or 4G. It also gives you alerts if a person is approaching, or there is some unusual movement or sounds. You can even speak to people via the inbuilt microphone (handy for couriers when you're not at home - you can ask them to leave parcels at the door etc). Installation could be a little tricky, in that you do need to power the unit via a power point, but all the mounting hardware is great quality and the magnetic attachment is really clever. Highly recommended.

The clarity of this camera is superb, the audio mic despite being at the front is strong enough to pick my kids up from the other side of house. The person identification alerts are spot on. Set up was easy, it would be a bonus if the cable went through the mount, but can not fault that as i knew about it before buying. Irregardless of what notifications you choose, as it uploads 24/7 it categorises them into motion, sound, person, dogs etc for your review at a later time. I would highly recommend this camera.

Hi some years ago I bought two Nest security video cameras. Your advertising did not that say they only work on the Nest website and you have to pay them a Monthly subscription to do most of the things it advertisers, and if you don’t buy a Monthly subscription there is a banner telling you to buy there Monthly subscription on the bottom of your screen all the time. Lately they have increased the size of this banner a now it take up half of the screen so it useless, I have contacted Nest and they will do nothing to remove this very big banner.

I recently purchase 2 x NEST Outdoor. It was simple to setup, and it is great to us (except for the poor Aussie internet, particularly with upload speed) However, I had to contact NEST Support for some information. Even though with both Telephone and Chat, there is no one there. It has been an hour and I am on hold on the phone and same no. 2 spot on online chat. DON'T buy NEST if you expect any support from them.

I set up 4 cameras today after getting shipment just befor Christmas. 2 x inside and 2 x outside. Set up was easy and would highly recommend this product. I have set up on lower bandwidth option as 4 camera would take away from internet on other devices. i have set it up with Google home hub so you can easily look at screen in house. Plus tables and mobiles.
