When a developer makes a game that's based on a popular anime series, there are two paths it can take in terms of story. It can either craft a tale that uses the same characters as the TV show but with a different storyline or it can stage a re-enactment of the familiar plot.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is a game that knows its audience. Picking up where its predecessor left off, it tells the ongoing tale of young ninja Naruto Uzumaki's struggles as the Nine-Tails' jinchuriki and his complex relationship with Sasuke Uchiha.

So, the last time I wrote about a Naruto game it was Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and it was my first Naruto fighting game as well so I was really excited. This time around I got a copy of the new Full Burst edition, available as a DLC for the original game and now resold as a complete standalone game.

There's a couple of games you can count on having a yearly iteration over the past decade. Madden, Call of Duty, the Atelier games from NIS, and the Naruto games all have had a steady stream of titles make their way to gamers, some with greater changes than others.

Kids were desperate for karting game, not having Nintendo we opted for this one. I played mario kart for years and truly believe they have near matched it with this smooth piece of software. It's fun, imaginative and very addictive. Don't hesitate......

There is plenty of fun to be had in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, and I felt a pang of sadness at how such a bold game may get lost amongst the slew of heavy-hitting releases due in the next few weeks.

This was exactly what I expected. If you are a naurto fan then you will love this game. There are so many characters to choose from in vs mode. With this game you get to follow the story line longer than the regular ninja storm. Great game!
