Oh 2K Sports, you were so close, yet so far from creating a masterpiece with NBA 2K18. There are many changes in place; some are fine-tunings, and other modes were demoed and rebuilt.

I hate all the VC driven madness and being handcuffed into cut-scenes and story mode before you even are able to upgrade your myplayer. They MAKE you go about the story the way THEY see fit. I don't like that. In the Open world driven gaming society, this is like being in jail.

If this game were solely a basketball sim, it would be excellent. Unfortunately, the MyCareer mode is geared entirely towards getting its consumers to pay more money to buy VC (Virtual Currency).

This game is defitnetly a significant step forward in the graphics and game play mechanics department. I was surprised how much more I like this game over the previous year installation (which I also loved). The face and bodies of the players are more realistic than ever.

I bought this just under a month ago for my boyfriends birthday as he loves basketball and 2K. He loves it and said that the features on it are really good!

is another step forward on the court, improving on the series' already great gameplay. You're rewarded for smart, controlled basketball when dribbling, driving, and playing defense in ways that make sense for the players you're controlling.

Nothing wrong with the packaging or anything from Walmart, but the game is not as good as believed. Too many cutscenes in MYPlayer mode, confusing controls, and a drop off from previous installments of 2K.

I love the new MyCareer with the free roam stuff and would highly recommend to any basketball fan
