HUGE step backwards from NBA 2K16. There are some nice new features in this game like league expansion in MyGM and MyLeague but the gameplay has been ruined. Fouls are completely out of control.

NBA 2K17 continues the strong legacy of the NBA 2K franchise. While it pushes the series forward the on-court moment to moment action is just beginning to show signs of age. But like Lebron, it's still the king, and for that all other sports franchises should take notes and pay attention.

Allen Iverson famously ranted about practice (and a lot of other things) when he was at the heights of his powers back in 2002: "We're talking about practice. We ain't talking about the game.

"This game has set me on the path to becoming a basketball fan."
