NBA 2K15 is a slam dunk on the PlayStation 4

Popping the disc into the machine, I was to be given a lesson on just how good a sport game could be, and ever since that day, my love for the NBA2K games has stayed with me for 14 years now. Back then it was astonishing to seem and to play just how realistic a sports game could really be.

This NBA off-season has been one of the busiest ever. There have been big money moves and vast team restructurings. A lot has changed. But NBA 2K15 hasn't seen quite as dramatic a change, as this year

Gameplay is the best yet; More game modes are worth playing than not; The atmosphere is incredibly life like

Online play is broken, Seeming endless sub-menus, Shaquille O'Neal really isn't funny; At all

NBA 2K15's scope and ambition as a sports sim is admirable; and though its execution doesn't always match its vision, it's still an altogether polished and impressive package. Even if you don't care much about basketball, it's worth checking out for its highly entertaining MyPlayer mode alone.

NBA 2K15 may have its little niggles but it is as deep and interesting as it ever was and it's ridiculously polished where it counts and that is on the court. With EA's record on sports sims outside of FIFA and Madden failing NBA 2K15 is really the slam-dunk choice for basketball fans this year.

For everyone looking forward to some next gen NBA this year, all I can say is Visual Concepts has delivered. The players look sharp, the commentators actually sound interesting, and Shaq is in the building. There is no question the NBA 2K franchise is back and back again in a big way.

Competition is scarce on the basketball video game scene, but that hasn't kept the team at 2K from pushing the NBA 2K franchise forward. Even with that success, one might assume that hiccups may occur as more and more untread ground is tread, as with any franchise.

This game is good but I'm just bothered that no one gets up to get refreshments or to pee, everyone just sits there like they're in a class room.

In this year's NBA 2K the single player modes have certainly been updated with quality from the comeback of association mode, MyGM and MyCareer. With the many options of creating your own association, the removal of VC in MyGM, and the new story line of MyCareer. This year's NBA 2K is worth buying.
