Motorola Moto G7 Power review

You can poke holes in the Moto G7 Power. For all that “power” bragging, it struggles a little with a few top-end games. The camera loves purple more than Prince and the screen is not the sharpest you’ll find at the price. This phone is simply a dream to live with, though. The battery lasts a real two days, not two days in a testing lab. And this year we get a big CPU upgrade, if not one that truly levels-up the phone’s gaming performance. If you’re tired of phones that barely last a day, and don’t want to put up with app fluff or software quirks, buy a Moto G7 Power.

Superb battery life ; Decent selfie camera; Surprisingly eye-charming screen ; Has a headphone jack ; Loads of storage ; Good value ;

Camera limits are clear at night, photos aren’t ; Some alternatives have sharper screens ;

Moto G7 Power review

Like the main G7, the Power version is another hit from Motorola and is a great choice for anyone that cares most about battery life.

But even with new contenders, the Motorola Moto G7 Power reigns supreme. It offers solid performance, spectacular battery life, and an eye-catching design for $249.99. Although it's at the absolute ceiling of what we consider budget-friendly, the G7 Power is the best affordable phone you can buy right now and our Editors' Choice. Design, Display, and Durability The Moto G7 Power's design language doesn't drift far from last year's G6 series. From the back, it looks nearly identical, and the main differences on the front are smaller bezels and a notch at the top of the display. It measures 6.28 by 2.99 by 0.37 inches (HWD) and weighs 7.80 ounces. It's a bit heavier than similar phones due to its large battery, but it's well balanced and easy to hold. The front is dominated by a 6.2-in...

The Motorola Moto G7 Power offers excellent performance, two-day battery life, and an attractive design for a budget-friendly price.

Excellent battery life; Solid performance; Sleek design; Ships with Android 9.0 Pie
