I have always been a huge fan of the Mortal Kombat series but this truly takes it to the next level. The gameplay is deeper and the graphics on PS4 are amazing. The detail of the characters and the depth of the environments truly look stunning. If you are a fan of this series this is a must buy.

There's so much content here, with Mortal Kombat X doing a great job of offering an accessible and challenging fighting experience for a genre novice. It's not ground-breaking, but it services the audience while offering enough fresh and varied content and characters to entice newcomers to the fold.

There is so much material packed into Mortal Kombat X that even with a $60 price tag, there is value for the cost. Granted, much of the content relies on an Internet connection and if its poor in your area, the game might not sustain you as long as someone else with better Internet.

Anyone who was alive and gaming in the '90s, when Mortal Kombat was a legitimate cultural phenomenon, remembers how the franchise's savage ultraviolence felt dangerous and defiant.

Dismal sequels, strange crossovers and somewhat useless spin-offs almost destroyed the Mortal Kombat franchise. 9 brought it back from the grave. A complete overhaul, one that worked in every sense from mechanics to story, that I've gone on record to claim as one of the best fighting games ever, and...

Great game. Very gory. The rating Def stands true. I would not let anyone younger than 13 play this game. Normally I wouldn't be so adamant about it but this game is very violent.

The OTT violence is gloriously varied and just tongue-in-cheek enough not to offend; Varied characters and disciplines, with plenty of game modes; Story mode and Krypt are especially good

The combat is still simplistic by fighting game standards and there are still almost no genuinely new ideas; Some ugly character art and a lack of explanation for different disciplines

Mortal Kombat X is the tenth version of the epic fighting game produced by NetherRealm Studios. It has been my favorite fighting game right after Tekken and they have proved why they are the best according to me. I got it one day after the release date (that's how much of a fan I am) and WHOA!!!

This game is well and truly awesome. I've been playing Mortal Kombat since it first ever came out and it keeps surprising me everytime. The team really pushed the envelope yet again! Absolutely love the brutalities and fatalities and online streaming is seamless. Would most definitely recommend.
