A Great Introduction To The Series

I played it while I was in Japan with Ryozo Tsujimoto at the tgs meet. It is an amazing game. I am lying about everything besides that it is an amazing game.

Marvel's Spider-Man - PlayStation 4

It's really a lot of fun. I remember when games were this interesting, fun, great story telling, great character mods. Takes me back and brings me forward as well, i love it!

Another game with almost unreadable small text and interface on the PS4 (with font size is set to large). This is with normal vision, on a 32 inch HDTV, sitting about 8 feet away. To me, the whole point of console gaming is to sit back and relax on a bed or sofa and avoid sitting on a chair right up...

Game Review: Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter is a long running franchise that has recently been properly introduced to the mainstream west with Monster Hunter: World. Sure the PSP era of games was one of the most popular times for the series with its English versions but it never quite took off or was promoted in the west as...

Monster Hunter World (PS4)

While its weighty combat (often erroneously labelled 'clumsy'... it's anything but, once you know what you're doing) means it still may not appeal to...

Packed with incredible encounters; Open environments work brilliantly; Quality-of-life improvements everywhere

Online systems still a little clunky; Relatively low monster count; Likely to devour all your time

Monster Hunter World review

Invest a little, though, and you'll get an awful lot back. The truth of Monster Hunter - and arguably its greatest strength - is that you're never truly its master, and that every player, be they novice or veteran, is always learning something new.

One of the best games I've played this generation

MHW is challenging but always fair, and any problem can be overcome with the right tools and enough determination. This game can take over all your free time if you let it (I've played about 300 hours over six months) and the developers have kept new gameplay content coming in regularly, and all...

Enjoyable

First time playing the series so was unsure what to expect. Would say it caters more to gamers who like in depth gameplay and mechanics as it does have a learning curve and a little patience to understand the systems implemented. Excellent game and plenty of hours of fun to be had!

Monster Fun

This was the first Monster Hunter game I'd played properly and it's a blast. Nice variety of monsters with more on the way and so much content you can stop after the campaign and still feel like you've got your money's worth.

Just eats up your time!

Bought this the day it came out (confirmed MH fan!) and it did not disappoint! All the stuff that made the old Monster Hunter games so addictive, but now with super easy co-op play, and graphics to die for ( the monsters look especially fantastic) thumbs up from me!
