Game Review: Minecraft [Xbox 360]

Minecraft is a sandbox in its purest sense, leaving you to fend for yourself in a wild and expansive land with nothing but your own thoughts to keep you company. That said, you might not be as alone as you think as you can invite up to 3 friends to join in on the fun.

Open-ended gameplay allowing you to do what ever you want

Requires you to literally build your own fun which some may find bothersome

Minecraft review: The indie build-'em-up feels right at home on Xbox 360

Whether you're mining, crafting, building, or fighting - either alone, or with friends - there's nothing quite like Minecraft. An accomplished, streamlined port that's a perfect fit for Xbox 360.

Fiendishly addictive; Superb new crafting system; Open-ended gameplay

No persistent servers; Some PC features missing

Minecraft - Xbox 360 Review

I couldn't really understand what had happened. One minute I lived in a world full of definition, of autumnal colours and funereal noise. Next I awoke in a block-shaped nightmare, stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

A close friend has been trying to get me into Minecraft since it debuted (in beta form) on the PC back in 2009. Sadly, I am cursed with the dexterity of a drunken walnut and so the mouse and keyboard interface meant I gave up relatively early on, unable to immerse myself in the cubed loveliness...

'Minecraft' review (Xbox Live Arcade)

Many games are referred to as a sandbox or open-world experience, but the designation has never fitted a game quite so perfectly as it does

"So Much Blocks"

Minecraft is a fun, enjoyable game that you can either play alone or with friends. It is available for devices such as: X-box, Tablets, Kindle fire/ Kindle fire HD, PC and PlayStation. The only limit of the game is the players imagination. There is no story to follow.

Multiplayer; Creativity; Enjoyment

Sometimes Hard

Minecraft Installation Option Issues!

This a fantastic game BUT there's 1 issue with this game which really annoyed me. The developers Mojang & 4J Studios who made this disc version of this game didn't include a option to 'install' the game to your Xbox 360 console hard drive like most Xbox 360 games.

I have lost a lot of my life to this game

Incredibly addictive and fun - you wouldn't think a game that looks so blocky and basic could be so good. I've spent hours building a house into the side of a mountain, then going down into caves, exploring and crafting the next best tools.
