I had a vague idea of what I was getting into, the rich heritage of the PC original is hard to ignore. Minecraft has developed a strong and dedicated community since it was released in alpha form back in 2009.

Minecraft XBLA is freaking fantastic and will hook you for days, weeks, or even months. It is such a simple concept - mine blocks and ore, and then use them to build new things - but it works incredibly well.

I can't say that Minecraft passed me by - how could it? It's a full-blown 21st century sensation, a hit indie game that changed all the rules, a perfect storm of internet fame. It's been pretty hard to ignore. But Minecraft did happen without me.

Not as fully featured as the PC

All these years i thought mine craft was some dumb game that i would not like until one day i went to my friends house and he asked me if i had ever played mine craft. I said no because i did not even know what it was.

I really shopped around before purchasing Minecraft for the Xbox 360 and found that Overstock had the best value - and actually had the game in stock. The game came well-packaged for shipping and in a very timely manner for Christmas.

I love this game!! I'm not a huge gamer at all because most games can't keep my attention for long, but with this game hours go by before I even know it. I love that you can create whatever you want and there's different textures for blocks you can get if you want something different.
