If a superb game based on the Lord of the Rings world has been the object of your singularly focused fixation, nay, obsession, then get ready to call Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor ‘my preciousss.
Immersive world; Deep Nemesis system; Looks and sounds terrific; Fun to play
None worth noting
Lord of the games
Expanded Nemesis system; Intricate and versatile skill tree; Glorious combat and movement; Siege battles are excellent; Epic story and interesting characters
Massive scale may overwhelm at first
We really enjoyed Shadow of Mordor when it launched back in 2014. It wasn't a perfect action-adventure, but the Nemesis system brought dynamics to the table that we'd never experienced before, and really haven't experienced since.
I have played similar games and enjoyed it but this is a total waste of time and money the game play is rubbish DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
In the pantheon of video gaming, there isn't much like riding around an open world without consequence of law or rule enforcement or even the recklessness of any attempt I might have at completing a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater line in real life.
Deep combat and traversal mechanics; Exceedingly varied skill tree and rune system; Excellent voice acting and sound design; Gorgeous landscapes; Multiple points of entry and exit of elaborate level design; Mission variety
Tons of Uruk to kill or control
Purchased this when it was on sale for $40. Dont know anything about this game lol so i cant speak on it personally, but i bought it for my husband for Christmas and he couldn't of been more happier to receive it. No complaints, so far he loves it. And i loved the price. So that's a win-win for me!
Video games based off of existing IPs have had a poor history of relying more on their lineage than actually delivering on a quality product. Thankfully, over the last few years we have been seeing more and more titles come out and show that games tied to other products have the unique ability to...
Nemesis System adds almost limitless gameplay possibilities; Combat is dynamic and keeps evolving; Presentation; Deep story; Great personification
Overly familiar core concepts; Load times
The game is freaking awesome, very detailed, and very hands on and I mean fingers on the button all the time when doing some wicked wicked moves and combos. Got the game after release day pretty quick THANKS MIGHTYAPE (Thumbs Up). Its an Open World game with a bit of A.Creed gameplay but this in LOTR style. The characters are awesome and the enemy is very detailed as well. Its has lots and I mean lots of side-missions and few main-mission so its best to do the side-missions to get some good gear because it gets abit tricky. I kid you not as soon as you do some of the main-missions be prepared to command an army and bend the enemy to your will. The storyline is pretty awesome and the creation of the rings of power was a surprise bringer for me (Cut Scene to watch it). OVERALL, an awesome game to add to my collection of favorites and looking forward to the DLC coming out soon.
An amazing game with and awesome story… cons: Sometime the battle/fight functions can be clunky and off. After a while the Uruks repeat Only 3 weapon choices Pros: Amazing story great visuals fun combat (when not be annoying) Would recommend to any assassin creed fan or Lord of the Rings!
