For the money great value

Out of the box, these don't sound good at all. They need dolby atmos enabled and there is a good video on you tube a guy has the best settings. I put bass boast to 2+ and for me spot on. Out of thr box need adjusting, but once you got the right settings are great. Just don't expect them good out of the box, as some had returned them, disappointed. One thing I would love to have seen was adjustment of the EQ with music in the background so live EQ settings. Dolby digital are amazing. I dont find them uncomfortable as some have said.

Xbox Wireless Headset Review

Microsoft tosses its hat into the wireless gaming headset ring with the Xbox Wireless Headset. This $99.99 headset is designed to work with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, along with the different Xbox One models, and it features Bluetooth so you can connect it to other devices, too. The headset looks and feels nice for the price, and it features powerful, bass-heavy audio. The bass can be a bitheavy without tweaking the headset’s EQ, and the Bluetooth connection isn’t nearly as good as the Xbox wireless connection it uses with the consoles (or with Windows 10 PCs, with an optional adapter). Still, if you take Xbox Wireless Headset as an Xbox-specific headset first and foremost, it’s an excellent pick that earns our Editors’ Choice award. Simple and Comfortable The Xbox Wireless Headset has a surprisingly simple design. It's nearly all-black, with flat, matte plastic surfaces on the earcups and headband that evoke the Xbox Series X. The large, circular earpads are padded w...

The Xbox Wireless Headset offers powerful sound and a lightweight, comfortable fit, though you might want to turn down the bass a bit.

Lightweight and comfortable; Robust sound; Bluetooth connectivity; Remembers multiple wireless signals

Bluetooth lacks high-end audio codecs; Bass-heavy sound requires EQ adjustments

Headset works as intended but isn't super clear

Great for someone looking for a solid and affordable headset. For me personally, the mic picked up to much background noise and was slightly muffled for my team mates in parties. The wireless function works very well and volume is fantastic.

Noticable audio lag and poor mic quality

I want to like these headphones, because the build quality is great, they feel good to wear and the sound quality is crisp with solid bass, but they're totally useless for their intended purpose, playing videogames. There's about 150ms of audio delay between the TV speakers and the headset, which is really offputting while gaming. I've also heard from people I was chatting to that the mic quality is awful, that it sounded muddy and distorted. It is nice being able to have audio both from bluetooth and xbox at the same time, which made chatting on Discord simple, but the lag and mic quality ruin an otherwise great set of headphones.

Not worth it for PC

Audio bit rate is cut in half when used over bluetooth, the sound these produce is disgusting. When connected with a cable they sound really great and seem to be a good bang for buck. Regardless, these are unusable as 'wireless’ headphones for PC. They sound horrible when wireless and I wouldnt put it any other way. They come with a 30cm cable to update when using with PC, cable length is too short and makes it awkward when trying to tamper with settings while connected and wearing them. Overall an extremely poor headphone with even worse compatibility. Sound quality I have experienced is poor, when connected with a cable it would be a solid 6/10. Also, spatial sound cannot be added wirelessly for PC, yet advertised differently. Avoid purchasing these, when it comes to audio make sure you invest in a reputable brand. Microsoft make software not audio, keep this in mind.

Great headset with a big flaw

Amazing headset but with one big flaw that MS refuse to fix and that's that the headset will automatically turn your xbox on even when your intentions aren't to use it for the xbox itself, this is a minor issue that could be easily fixed with an update but it's been over a year now without a fix that has been addressed countless times by customers have that purchased the same product.. What a let down
