Xbox Wireless Headset review: Premium audio at a reasonable price

This Xbox & PC headset offers performance and a feature set that belie its price point. As well as the ability to hook it up to your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S without a dongle, it sports Bluetooth connectivity for mobile use. Its audio signature is big and bold enough, but without overblowing clarity, and it's as capable with gameplay as it is Netflix and music streaming.

Excellent audio for the price; Well built; Easy to pair and use; Dolby Atmos and other object-based surround support; Bluetooth on board for mobile connectivity;

The microphone is decent but not spectacular; Have to manually adjust your speaker volume when wearing the headset - or both will play;

Simple and Comfortable The Xbox Wireless Headset has a surprisingly simple design. It's nearly all-black, with flat, matte plastic surfaces on the earcups and headband that evoke the Xbox Series X. The large, circular earpads are padded w...

The Xbox Wireless Headset offers powerful sound and a lightweight, comfortable fit, though you might want to turn down the bass a bit.

Lightweight and comfortable; Robust sound; Bluetooth connectivity; Remembers multiple wireless signals

Bluetooth lacks high-end audio codecs; Bass-heavy sound requires EQ adjustments
